The Full Sail Experience
My Full Sail experience is one of learning applicable
business knowledge. The area of focus was entertainment but I can honestly say
that the information and principles learned were most applicable to
entrepreneurship than anything. Cultivating business leaders in any industry,
this program was a gainful program. I developed and created a business that will
more than likely come to fruition within the next two years. More than that it
allowed me to explore what I want to do career wise, as I have been seeking my
passion and I believe that every course shed light on it. I am a better
negotiator, I research more thoroughly, I cultivate my followers into leaders
when I lead, I tell stories through branding and I seek permission from
rightful owners.
Through the program I have answered RFPs, created
large-scale events that created funding for non-profits and I have accepted and
rejected deals on behalf of artists. Upon beginning this program, my plan was
to use it as a stepping-stone for Entertainment Law. However, after completing
the Advanced Entertainment Law course I realized that I would miss creativity, which
gives me purpose. I was perplexed by the change of heart as I have spent a
great deal of time with that as my focus, only to recreate my destiny with a
passion for creation. I enjoy helping others reach their dreams and goals and
now I know that I cannot accomplish that through the practice of law. Others
have done it successfully through that platform but it is not the platform for
me.
I am still fine-tuning how I will fulfill my passion but I
know that what I have learned through the Full Sail Entertainment Business Master of Science has and will be a great asset to my future endeavors.
Creativity has always been my muse and I intend to keep her by my side during
discovery and implementation.
